REAPER is a complete digital audio production application for Windows and OS X, offering a full multitrack audio and MIDI recording, editing, processing, mixing and mastering toolset. Changes since version 2.12. Workaround for a bug in the Windows 8/8.1 Bluetooth audio driver (causing BSOD when device is opened twice). Hi Folks There must be 1000 posts on this subject. I have searched and searched for a solution and have not seen one. I have a Windows 7 64 bit OS on a Dell studio xps with an AMD phenom 6 core processor. Originally I used an maudio m track on my windows 8 laptop. There were no drivers for win 8.1 64 bit. So I had to use asio4all. Using the M audio drivers resulted in this same 'no asio drivers found' message. I moved onto my desktop and connected the m track and installed the m audio drivers. All went well and the m track is recognized by everything else in the computer. Just not reaper 64. I tried all the methods described in the previous posts, such as uninstall/reinstall. Set to default/ un set to default. SO>>> I figured crappy m audio drivers and bought a presonus interface. Long story short. The same thing. No asio drivers found. The presonus interface came with studio one artist. SO I installed that. The drivers work without issue. I then installed he presonus drivers on my win 8.1 laptop and that works fine with reaper 64. SO I then installed the m audio drivers back onto my win 7 desktop and that works with studio one. Still no drivers found in reaper 64. I am using reaper now in wasapi mode on the win 7 desktop. But I'd like to get it working with asio. Asio4 all does not work on this system either. I am assuming that reaper 32 might work. But even if it does, that's not what I want. So has ANYONE found a solution. I promise to mark this thread SOLVED SOLVED SOLVED if we can get this sorted. Sowe can save someone else the days and days of searching that I've been doing. This is not a presonus thing nor an m audio nor an asio4all thing since none of them show up. Don't know how to post a screenshot. But the device preference page is the same as it always was and is the same as the default settings. I've changed the settings in reaper and in my computer's audio device settings in all possible combinations (according to suggestions from the tons of other posts) Nothing worked for me and it seems nothing worked for the other posters. So now everything is back to square one and the way that works on the other computers.
